Outlook for Mac Email Software Setup

Prior to setting up email on your device(s) you will need Australian Web Experts to set up the email accounts you require. The configuration information will be available via webmail in the welcome email we send out once your mailbox is configured.

With these details and the guide we provide below you should be able to complete setup on your device.

1. Open up Outlook for Mac. Click the Tools tab, then click Accounts.

2. Select Other Email when prompted to select an account type.

3. Enter in your account information.

  • Email address: Your full email address needs to go here.
  • Password: The password for your email account
  • Username: Your full email address, the same as above.
  • Type: IMAP
  • Incoming server: This is your domain name with mail. in front of it (example mail.australianwebexperts.com.au)
    Tick both of the tickboxes
  • Port (second box): 993
  • Outgoing server: This should be identical to the Incoming server.
    Tick both of the tickboxes
  • Port (second box): 465

Click Add Account.

4. Adjust the Account description and Full Name fields as you wish, then click More Options.

5. Next to authentication, select Use Incoming Server Info. Click OK.

6. Close the window and you should be good to go! Outlook for your Mac has now been configured!
