How long will it take for my website to be built?
From the commencement of your website package, to the completion and launch of your new website, the estimated time frame is 3-4 weeks. This is an estimated time frame, presuming all content and information is provided to us on time. We also have the capacity to fast track projects if an urgent build is needed by the client.
Do you work with local and interstate clients?

What platform do you build websites on?
Australian Web Experts build all new websites on WordPress. WordPress is our choice of CMS (Content Management System) for its’ reliability, ease of use and Google ranking factors. WordPress is the world leading CMS for professionally built, well ranked websites.
Will we be able to self manage the website?
Yes! On completion of your website, you will receive 24/7 access to the back-end of your website. We will also provide you with a Custom Training Guide that outlines how to make small changes to your website, allowing you to have control of the site.
Do you host our website?
Australian Web Experts host every website that we build. We partner with a third-party Server provider based in Melbourne. We charge $29.95 + GST per month for website hosting, for a full list of hosting includes, please refer to our Website Hosting page.
Will my website be mobile responsive?
Absolutely! Every website that we design is completely mobile responsive. This means that your website will function across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
Each website is ran through a vigorous quality assurance test prior to launch, ensuring your website looks beautiful across all devices.
Is our website built and managed in Australia?
Australian Web Experts are a fully owned and operated Australian business. Your website will be built in house by Australian developers and designers. Unlike other agencies, we never outsource the design and development of your new website to overseas developers.
What content do I need to provide for my website?
The content you provide will be entirely dependent on your website requirements. Typically speaking, we will request imagery, an overview of your business and specific services, a copy of your logo and other brand collateral that you may have. Your Account Manager will walk you through this straightforward content retrieval process.
Can you source photos for our new website?
Yes! Australian Web Experts can source high-quality, free stock imagery to use on your new website if required. Oftentimes, our clients like a mix of their actual images, along with some high-quality stock photos in more prominent positions.
Is SEO included in my new website?
While your new website will be fully developed and coded in a way the Google search engines will be able to crawl and rank, this is not the same as engaging us for a tailored SEO Campaign. If you require specific rankings for keywords, please get in touch with your Account Manager to discuss where we can help you achieve your desired Google rankings.

How much do you charge for hosting?
Our standard website hosting costs $29.95 + GST per month. This includes premium Australian servers, back-ups, security, email accounts and 1 hour of updates per month to your website. For businesses who require more care and updates, we have additional hosting products that can be viewed on our Website Hosting page.
Where is my website hosted?
All websites built and hosted by Australian Web Experts are hosted here in Australia. For those who are in the research phase of hosting, we always recommend hosting your website in Australia.
Do we have to host our website with AWE?
We recommend all clients who have a website built by AWE or those who engage us for digital marketing to host their website with us. Priced competitively, our hosting service is second to none. Further to this, by hosting with AWE we have greater access and control of your site to assist you with all of your needs.
Is my website backed up?
Your AWE hosted website is backed every 8 hours, this ensures there is no data loss and our Servers will take an exact copy of your website every 8 hours. We have the ability to restore your website to the earlier 8 hour back up in the event this is required.
AWE will also retain a copy of your completed website at the completion of your project, this is a master copy to prevent any data loss.
Is my website secure?
We ensure your website is secure by utilising leading security plugins, Server security protocols and more. AWE prides itself on ensuring all clients’ websites are totally secure in our ecosystem.
We also ensure each of our clients have a SSL Certificate, and we dive deeper into this on our blog.
Do you include free website updates with hosting?
Each of our hosting products include free hours of monthly development. This is ideal for clients who require updates to their website, such as adding new photos, changing text, adding additional pages, etc.
Your free website updates can be accrued for a max period of 1 quarter for larger website updates.
What happens if I want to change hosting providers?
You are welcome to move your website to any hosting provider that you like. AWE never locks clients into a hosting contract and your website is completely owned by you.
In the event you require AWE to package up your website and provide it to your new hosting provider, we charge $359.40 + GST to package the site up.
I have a website hosted elsewhere, we migrate to AWE?

What is social media management?
Social media management is the management of your businesses social media profiles. We offer complete social media strategy, content production and management of your profiles to make your business stand out from the crowd.
How much do you charge for social media management?
We require a minimum monthly spend of $500 + GST to manage your social media account. We have varying package levels depending on the amount of social profiles you require Australian Web Experts to manage for you. Each package comes with a Dedicated Account Manager, custom strategy and content production to varying degrees.
Can you create our social profiles for us?
Absolutely! We include the set-up and configuration of social media accounts for businesses that do have these in each of our packages. As part of our strategy, we can guide you toward the best social media platforms to connect you with your ideal audience.
Do you offer organic and paid social media management?
At present, we only offer organic social media management. This is social media management without advertising spend.
Can you create content for us?
Yes! Our social media management team loves producing compelling content for our clients. We can create imagery, collateral, tag lines and social media descriptions to make your business stand out. As part of our strategic strategy, we will figure out your businesses unique selling points and build on this to form your content strategy.
What type of reporting will we receive?
You will have complete access to your upcoming months content schedule, so that you can always see what we’ve got in the pipeline for your social accounts. Beyond this, your Dedicated Account Manager will send monthly reports outlining engagement, posts, traffic and other metrics relevant to your particular social media profiles.
